In our current Wednesday night study on hermeneutics, we are examining how we ought to approach the Bible to best understand God’s message. In this session we finish out the 5 steps we should take when interpreting Scripture, work through a few examples, and address some additional things we ought to consider as well.
In our current Wednesday evening study on Hermeneutics, as we consider how to rightly interpret Scripture the first step is to figure out what the text is saying. Before any interpretation can take place, we need to rightly understand what is being said.
In the spirit of full disclosure, the material from this series is based on the work by Todd Friel of Wretched Radio / Wretched TV titled “Herman Who?”
Wednesday evening study by Pastor Marc on Hermeneutics (How to Study the Bible). This study is based on the resource “Herman Who?” by Todd Friel, available at Wretched Radio.
