We conclude our study on prayer by taking a look at how we maintain our faith when we do not understand how God chooses to act (or not act) in our circumstances. At the heart of the issue is whether or not we have the proper perspective and what it is that we allow to inform our faith.

In part 2 on our series on prayer, we take a look at some biblical passages to understand why God sometimes may choose to not answer our prayers.
In this Wednesday evening study, we tried to better understand prayer. Using the New City Catechism (questions 38-41) as our jumping off point, we explored the definition of prayer, what our attitude should be as we pray, and how we know what we should pray about.
We all know we are supposed to talk to God, but we don’t … Not as we should. What are the reasons we don’t pray? How should we think about praying? And what can we do to help us pray more as we should?
