Offerings

We encourage our church family who remain at home to continue to tithe and support our church.  Anyone who wishes to may drop off their tithes at the Moody Bank and specify it is tithes for the LHBC account or send checks to church address: 1155 Liberty Hill Rd, Moody, TX  76557.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• June 13th – Saturday: OCC Shoebox prep – we will be putting sewing kits for girls shoeboxes beginning at 10:00 a.m.
• June 14th – Sunday: Dinner Day!!
• June 17th – Wednesday: Business Meeting 7:00 p.m. We will be voting on proposed changes to our constitution and by-laws.
• June 27th – Saturday: LHBC will be hosting the Moody Community Men’s Prayer Breakfast with Shoebox setup immediately after.
• New “Tackle the Tote” challenge: Shopping list on the tote and additional lists to take with you on the table.
• June 28th – Sunday: OCC Shoebox packing party for Girls ages 2-4 and 10-14. Mark your calendars.
• Community Food Pantry: LHBC collecting high protein items.
• Note – Equipment Fund/Shoebox donations: Please designate offerings meant for these funds. The offering box is on the back wall for tithes or other donations.
• Note – Join the LHBC family to pray daily at noon for each other, our church, community, nation, and Israel. Invite others to join us.

What is Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry?

Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The shoebox is given, the Gospel is shared; and then, the children are invited to participate in a discipleship program called “The Greatest Journey”.

How can you be a part?

We are having a packing party to fill shoeboxes on June 28, 2026 for girls ages 2-4 and 10-14. Below is a list of ways to support this ministry:

★ Pray: For the packers, for the shoppers, for the box recipients, for the families and communities receiving the boxes helping to spread the Gospel

★ Shop: A list of needed items is on the back table

★ Donate: For shopping or shipping

★ Party:

• Help setup before the party
• Be at the packing party to pack boxes, to put boxes together, to pray, to bring snacks
• After the party, help provide quality assurance on each box
