Offerings

We encourage our church family who remain at home to continue to tithe and support our church.  Anyone who wishes to may drop off their tithes at the Moody Bank and specify it is tithes for the LHBC account or send checks to church address: 1155 Liberty Hill Rd, Moody, TX  76557.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• September 5th- Saturday: Men’s Prayer breakfast at 8:00 a.m.

• September 20th – Sunday: OCC Shoebox packing party – snacking at 6:30 p.m. and packing at 7:00 p.m. Shopping List in the back by the donation tote. We will be packing for girls ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14.
• Community Food Pantry: LHBC collecting high protein items.
• Note – Equipment Fund/Shoebox donations: Please designate offerings meant for these funds. The offering box is on the back wall for tithes or other donations.
• Note – Join the LHBC family to pray daily at noon for each other, our church, community, nation, and Israel. Invite others to join us.

ON THE BACK

OCC Shoebox Update

Our next packing party is scheduled for September 20th. Mark your calendars!! We will be packing for girls ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14.

 

Here’s a quick list of ways to get involved with OCC at LHBC:

★ Pray: for all those involved in the ministry; pray that the shoeboxes get to the child who needs it; pray for the child and family who will receive the shoebox.

★ Shop: each time you shop for yourself, pick up something to pack. It can be as small as spoons or as grand as a “WOW” item that will fit in a shoebox. If you happen to see a great deal, put out the word in a text so others can shop there, too.

★ Donate: If you aren’t a shopper, it’s ok. Donations for shopping and shipping are a valuable way to be part of this ministry.

★ Packing Party: When the date is announced, put it on your calendar and plan to attend. We are always in need of packers, note makers, shoebox makers and label appliers. Invite a friend and bring your kids and grandkids to join the fun,

★ Other ways:

• Removing packaging and tags from donated items
• Making up pencil pouches
• Setting up for packing parties
• QA shoeboxes after packing parties
