In Christianity, we do not just believe that Jesus was a good teacher whose message we try to apply to our lives. The claim of Christianity is that Jesus Himself IS God incarnate. It is a bold claim, and one which often gets challenged. Did the early church believe this? Does the Bible really say it? Did Jesus Himself claim it? And why does it really matter as long as we’re living decent lives as He taught?
